I have mentioned in other posts that the summer of 1984 was one of the very best times in my life so far. During that memorable summer, besides being all moony for my future husband (at that point, my partner of 5 years) my mind would wonder to these men. So today I offer 3 men I was zany for in 1984: Jan Michael Vincent, John Eric Hexum (who would die tragically late that year), & Aidan Quinn.

John Eric Hexum still makes me drool. Oh, yeah, I was sad when he passed.
ReplyDeleteyummy eighties.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and bestowing such kind words. I've also taken a stroll through your world and have enjoyed what I've found. I too will be back.
ReplyDeleteThe 80's were a good time. Like the pics. =o)
ReplyDeleteJohn Eric.. what a waste... sigh...
ReplyDeleteThree lovely places for the mind to wander.
ReplyDeleteJohn Eric actually committed suicide unintentionally in front of an entire film crew. He was joking around and picked up a prop gun, secure in the knowledge that for filming there would be no bullets in it, but not realizing that it contained a charge to create a realistic puff of smoke and some noise.
He put it to the side of his head and pulled the trigger, sending a nickle-sized piece of skull bone deep into his brain.
He was both talented and really gorgeous. He had just come to prominence in a TV movie co-starring Joan Collins.
Nice choices! FYI - 1984 was an important year in my development too.
ReplyDeletethat stirs memories--among other things!
ReplyDeleteI still regulary masturbate to John Eric.
